Druscilla was born on October 3, 1916 to Hubert and Benevra (Pilkington) Wieland in Sedalia, Missouri Druscilla was the oldest of four siblings John, George, William (Bill) and Charlotte (Lottie) On August 18, 1939, Druscilla married Albert Glenn Washburn. They had two sons: Gary and Larry. Drucilla and Albert resided in Wallace and Thomas Counties during their marriage. Druscilla taught school for many years. She began her career teaching in a one room country schools where the students often arrived on horsemack. She also taught in Levant, Colby Public School and Sacred Heart Catholic School. Druscilla loved her family and took great pride in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by Son Gary (Sue) of Lincoln, Nebraska, son Larry (Joyce) of Colby, KS, grandson Brant (Traci) of Lincoln, Nebraska and their daughters Taylor,, Sarah and Reagan; granddaughter Shalyse (Daniel) Lottermoser of El Cajon, California, and their daughters Nala and Cora; granddaughter Taylor (Ken) Howel of Denver, Colorado and their son Theodore; grandson Drew Washburn of Independence, Missouri; brother William (Thelma) Wieland of Colby, KS Druscilla was preceded in death by her husband Albert and brothers John and George and sister Charlotte Bannister.
