Dorothy Francis

Dorothy R. Francis, 92, of Colby, died Monday, July 17, 2017 at Colby Health and Rehab. She was born November 19, 1924, in Durham, KS, to Daniel and Selma (Hill) Hein. She married Gerald Francis on July 14, 1945, in Wichita, KS and to this union two children were born. She was a member of the Colby United Methodist Church.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gerald and brothers Eugene and Kenneth Hein.

She is survived by her children, Gary (Norma) Francis, Stockbridge, GA and Tammy (Marshall) Fulton, Winona, KS; sister Erma Love, Amarillo, TX; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 4-7:00 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017, at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby. Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby with burial to follow in the Beulah Cemetery.
