Donald Young

Donald (Don) Gerald Young, 92, of Colby, died peacefully at home with family by his side on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. He was born November 19, 1928, in Colby, KS, to Ralph (Babe) and Fannie (Baird) Young. Don served in the United States Navy and was a Korean War veteran. He owned and operated a bricklaying business in Colby for many years.

Don was preceded in death by his wife Goldie Young and daughter Diane (Young) Landau.

He is survived by his son Robbie Young, of New York, NY; 2 grandsons and brother Ron (Peggy) Young, of Colby, KS.

A private family service took place with burial at Beulah Cemetery, Colby. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
