Dennis Harold Coon

Dennis Harold Coon, 70, of Colby, died Thursday, January 2, 2025. He was born in Minneapolis, MN, on December 24, 1954, to Marie E. Smith. She married Donald Orin Coon in 1955. He adopted Dennis and helped raise him. Dennis Joined the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Riley, KS. Dennis stayed in Kansas, where he married and had his children. Dennis loved cars and track racing. He was a mechanic and owned three different automotive shops over 45 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother Marie E. Coon; father Donald O. Coon Sr; brothers, Donald Jr and David James Coon and his ex-wife Lisa.

He is survived by his ex-wife Lisa’s children, David and Jennifer; ex-wife Teresa and son Daniel; wife Darlene and children, Ariel, Jared, Miranda and Jesse; along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
