Darold Ashford

Darold Eugene Ashford, 75, of Atwood, KS, left this world early in the morning of Oct. 22, 2020, in Hays, KS.

He was born Feb. 6, 1945, in Oceola, IA, to Darold Ashford and Letha (Suits) Ashford. He joined the Navy in 1964 and was discharged in 1966.

Darold married Susan Sutton in 1967 and had one daughter,Leanna Ashford, of Atwood.

He was preceded in death by both parents and one sister Linda Ryan, of Atwood.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Susan; daughter Leanna; two grandsons, Raymond (Whitney) Ashford, Atwood, and Brandon (Jessica) Ashford, Colby; five great grandchildren, Jayden Ashford, Riya Casper, Aliya Ashford, Cobyn Ashford and Grayson Ashford; two sisters; Cheri Williams, of Horseshoe Bend, AZ and Janice Kerley, of Denver and many nieces, nephews and folks who loved him.
