Connie Jean Ziegler, 74, of Norton, passed away peacefully on June 8th, 2024 at the Logan Manor.
Connie was born on May 23, 1950 to Johnnie and Twila (Walz) Albertson in Grinnell. After Connie graduated from Grinnell High School in 1968, she went on to college at Fort Hays.
Connie loved life. She was a volleyball referee for over 25 years. She loved collecting antiques, fishing, and spending time with family, friends, and especially her dogs PJ, Pillow, and Blanket.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Twila and Johnnie, her brother Lonnie Albertson, son-in-law Dwight Sprigg, and her dog Blanket.
She is survived by her daughter Michelle Sprigg, of Norton, KS; granddaughter Dustyna (Ernesto) Roman of Hutchinson, KS and their children Serafina and Pius Roman; grandson Dylan (Jordan) Sprigg, of Norton, KS and their children Grayson, Griffin, and Granger Sprigg; sister-in-law Marjorie (Jamie) Albertson-Klawuhn; nieces Jennifer (Jason) Ailshire, Jamie (Kaden) Thieman, and Janice (Billy) Griffin; and several great nephews and a great niece. She will be greatly missed by her furry friends PJ and Pillow.
A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
