Chris Bieker

Chris Bieker, 53, of Colby, died Saturday, April 14, 2012. He was born Dec 16, 1958, to Theodore and Leona (Billinger) Bieker in Colby, KS. He graduated from Colby High School in 1976. Chris married Sharon (Payne) Bieker on Sept 23, 1978. Chris worked for the City of Colby as the Public Works Director and was the former Thomas County Road Supervisor for over 20 years.
Preceded in death by his parents and four infant children.
Survived by his wife of the home; two children, Heath Bieker (Manhattan) and Tisha Bieker and fiancé, Cade Carter (Colby); two brothers, Vernon (Carol) Bieker (Crowley, TX) and Robert (Lori) Bieker (Hays); three sisters, Ramona Stupka (Colby), Maybelle (Dick) Moore (Colby), and Peggy (Ron) Young (Colby).
Cremation was chosen and a memorial mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Colby. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery, Colby. Memorials are suggested to Northwest Kansas Foundation for Hope in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
