Cheryl Rena Baldridge Kogler was born to James Baldridge and Karen (Slentz) Baldridge on January 2, 1974 in Sabetha, KS. She passed away in a vehicular accident near Russell, KS on July 13, 2015. She was raised in Sabetha, KS and graduated from Sabetha High School in 1992. While in high school, she participated in several sports. She attended New Tribes Bible Institute in Wisconsin and graduated from Colby Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing. While living and working in Colby, she met the love of her life, Ron Kogler. They were united in marriage, September 18, 1999 in Colby, KS. To this union two children were born; Kylee Nicole and Korey Ray. They enjoyed camping, going to car races, and living together as a family. Cheryl was employed as a para at the Colby Middle School working with at risk children and loved the work she did with the church youth. Also together with Ron, she enjoyed taking care of the Thomas County Fairgrounds. She was preceded in death by her father James Baldridge and her brother Steve Baldridge. Cheryl is survived by her husband Ron, daughter Kylee, and son Korey of the home. She is also survived by her mother Karen Baldridge of Sabetha, KS, brothers Gary (Connie) Baldridge of Holton, KS, Rodney (Pam) Baldridge, Andrew and Jessica of Liberal, MO, and Greg Baldridge of Las Vegas, NV. Other survivors are: Ron’s parents Marvin and Annabell Kogler, sister-in-laws Kathy (Mike) Schutz and Megan of Salina, KS, Judy Stragey and Mark Griffin of Norton, KS, Ashley (Pablo) Sanchez, Xavier and Paxon of Oberlin, KS, and Cole (Tonya) Stragey, Temperance and Madison of Oberlin, KS, along with many other relatives and friends.
