Charlotte Haller

Charlotte May Haller, 100, of Atwood, died Tuesday, September 4, 2018, in Colby, KS. The last surviving member of her immediate family Charlotte May “Bill/Billie”(as the family always called her) was born in Red Willow County, Nebraska, the 7th child of 9 to Bertha Ellen "Bridgeford" & Charles Harlan Mortimore. She Graduated High School in Stockville, Frontier Co., NE.,

Charlotte & Glenn Haller were married July 24 in 1997, and farmed the Haller family farm north of Atwood. She was able to celebrate her 100th Birthday with Family & friends at a reunion on June 3, 2018.

Billie loved farming and was known for running tractors and any equipment needed to get the job done. She was a Mom & Homemaker but the farming was her 1st choice of work and in her younger years you'd find her in the field more often than not. Family was all important to her, as were the many friends she made through the years. She never met a stranger and loved a good visit and made everyone feel welcome. Dancing, crochet, gardening & cooking were some of her favorite pass times.

She is survived by her husband Glenn Haller; 3 grandchildren, Timothy John Ham, Tina Pizer & Joey LaGuardia along with 4 great grandchildren, Rayannah, Helena, Mackenzie, & Tel.

John Ham, only child of Bob & Bill preceded her in death along with her husband's, Bob Ham & Malcom Thomas; her parents; brothers & their spouses, Mahlen & Eva Mortimore, Harlan & Nancy Mortimore, & Ervin & Willa Mortimore; sisters & their spouses, Mable & John Callan, Ellen & Harry Callan, Violet & Dale Wood, Veda Mortimore, & Alice Arent.
