Charlotte Yvonne (Lewis) Deibert Charlotte was born on April 7, 1940 in Sheridan County to Herbert M Lewis and Almira Mae (Davis) Lewis and went home to her Lord on February 14, 2016 at the age of 75. Charlotte married Frank Deibert on July 30, 1955 in Hoxie, Kansas. To this union four children were born. Preceding her in death were her mother and father and several siblings. Surviving family members include husband Frank of Brewster, Kansas and daughters Mira and (John) Crawford of Kingsville, Texas, Sandra and (Bruce) Irwin of Cape Fair, Missouri, Joyce and (Wayne) Gregory of Olathe, Kansas and Doris and (Jerry) Helin of Colby, Kansas. As well as sister Nettie Clair of Fort Collins, Colorado and her brother Delbert Lewis of Oberlin, Kansas. Also, left to mourn her were the joys of her life sixteen grandchildren, thirty - three great - grandchildren and one great great - grandchild on the way. Charlotte was also blessed to have many loving nieces and nephews that she enjoyed spending time with. For many years Charlotte was honored to have a caring extended family through Al and Coleen Rall and their children Darcy and (Adam Schamberger) and Jeff and (Shayla) Rall. Charlotte enjoyed many things including traveling, camping, fishing and spending countless hours with her family and friends. She (with the help of her husband Frank ) carried on her mother’s legacy of making it a priority of having homemade chicken and noodles prepared for whenever her daughters came to visit. Pastor Robert Alexander of Trinity Lutheran Church in Colby, Kansas will be officiating the services at Kersenbrock Funeral Chapel on Friday February 19, 2016 at 2:00pm. An inurnment   will be held at the Brewster Cemetery following the service. A memorial fund in Charlotte’s name has been established and will be distributed back to Citizens Medical Center in Colby, Ks. Donations in care of Kersenbrock Funeral Chapel.
