Charles M Plumisto, 60, of Rexford, died Sunday, May 24, 2015. He was born Nov 15, 1954 to Mitchell and Lois (Withers) Plumisto in Raton, NM. He was a volunteer Fire Fighter for many years and baseball coach for several years. He worked for Red River Commodities for the last 22 years. He married Tamara (Kaaz) Ackerman on April 10, 2013 in Colby, KS. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, racing and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, George and Glen Phillips and sister, Deb Blackhart.
He is survived by his wife Tammy; sons, Tyson and Austin Plumisto; step children, Valorie (Justen) Fenske and Chloe Ackerman; brothers, Mike (Louann) Plumisto, Dwayne (Becky) Plumisto, Dale Plumisto, Roy Plumisto, Sonny (Debra) Plumisto, David (Heather) Plumisto and Melvin (Gelinda) Phillips; sisters, Mickey Miller, Char Plumisto, Cathy (Ross) Carney, Lois (Kurtis) Armstrong, Kelly Plumisto, Lynnette (Jeff) Dudley and Marsha (Bill) Long; two step grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation will be from 3-7pm on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby. Funeral services will be 1:30pm on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Colby United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Summers Township Cemetery.
