Brian Holzmeister

Brian Joseph Holzmeister, 50, of Colby, died Monday, March 2, 2020. He was born August 11, 1969, in Hoxie, KS, to Donald and Agnes (Munk) Holzmeister. Brian worked at Great Western Tire, for almost 20 years. He also drove truck for Oakley Chemical and Poole Chemical, of Oakley and owned his own truck. Brian was an avid Denver Broncos fan. He enjoyed company with friends, eating and drinking, and giving people a hard time. The most important thing in Brian’s life was the time he spent with friends and family, especially, his grandbaby.

Brian is survived by his children, Christine Holzmeister, of Colby and Chase Holzmeister, of Harlingen, TX; parents, Don & Agnes Holzmeister, of Colby; brother Doug (Susan) Holzmeister, of Colby; nephew Brady Holzmeister (22); niece Shaylee Holzmeister (12) and grandson Benjamin Turner (1.5).

Visitation is 5-7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2020, at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby, with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Colby.
