Betty Keller

Betty (Elizabeth Jane) Hills Keller, 89, of Oakley, went to be with her heavenly Father on May 24, 2018, at the Logan County Hospital. She was born July 31, 1928, to Fred and Anna (Ilges) Ostmeyer, at Angelus, KS. On October 25, 1946 she married Harold Hills, Jr. After 30 blessed years of marriage, he preceded her in death on March 5, 1977. She then married Leo Keller, on November 2, 1977 and had another 40 wonderful years of marriage. Betty will be remembered for her love of her family and the positive, caring and loving spirit she showed every day.



Betty was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Harold; two brothers and two sisters.



She is survived by her husband Leo Keller, of Oakley; children, Craig (Anita) Hills, Colby, KS, Doug (Junelle) Hills, Colby, KS, Rhonda (Gary) Holstein, Leoti, KS, Ranell (Lile) Lunsway, Rexford, KS, Darnell (Mel) Holopirek, Wichita, KS and Fontella Fant, Plainville, KS; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.



Funeral Service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the Colby United Methodist Church, with burial in Beulah Cemetery, Colby. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Logan County Healthcare Foundation, in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
