Beth Maxine Balogh, 83 of Thornton, Colorado passed away peacefully on January 19, 2024. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Beth was born in Colby, Kansas on July 14, 1940, to Bethel Ernie and June Geraldine Brown. Beth grew up in Colby where she spent all her childhood until moving to Thornton, Colorado in 1955. On May 23, 1959, she married Frank Balogh, her soul mate for 62 years. Her absolute joy in life was raising her three children, Frank Jr, Melody and Lonnie. Her hobbies were painting ceramics, decorating cakes, watching western movies on tv, and playing Bunco. She also enjoyed meeting up with friends at McDonalds for breakfast.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bethel Ernie Brown and June Geraldine Brown, brother Burl Edwin Brown and husband Frank Balogh.
She is survived and forever loved by her children, son Frank and Linda Balogh, daughter Melody Balogh and son Lonnie Balogh; grandchildren, Kelley and Kyle Zick, Kyle and Danny Balogh and Dakota and Cheyenne Balogh; and great grandchildren, Bre’ella, Jaxson and Dawson Zick and Reagan and Owen Balogh.
A graveside service will take place at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Beulah Cemetery, Colby.
