Bernice Marie Straub

Bernice Marie Straub, 96, of Colby, KS, died February 22, 2025, at Prairie Senior Living Center, Colby. She was born on February 9, 1929, in Russell Springs, KS, to Ed and Anna (Blau) Deaver. She married Raymond Straub on July 21, 1946, in Colby, KS.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Eugene, Lawrence, Dale and Virgil; sisters, Elizabeth David, Martha Crous, Effie Clevenger, Alene Frazier and Doris Wright; and son-in-law Arthur Wolfe. 

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Wolfe, of Wichita, KS, Pam (Steve) Van Eaton, of Monument, KS, and Tami (Brian) Suiter, of Lincoln, NE; eight grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and two great-great grandsons; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. 

Visitation is from 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley. Funeral Service is at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley, with burial in the Winona Cemetery.
