Anna Weed

Anna Christena Weed, 84, of Oakley, died April 27, 2012. She was born July 7, 1927 to Rasmus and Sarah (Pounds) Jensen in Lincoln County, KS. She married Kenneth Weed on August 25, 1945. She was a homemaker and a life time resident of the Levant, Kansas area.
Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Weed; parents, Rasmus and Sarah (Pounds) Jensen; brother-in-law, Robert Schroeder Sr.
Survived by her daughters, Linda (Dick) Roesch, Colby, Barbara (Al) Schmidt, Oakley, and Trudy (Joe) Heath of Dighton; sister, Helen Schroeder, Levant; 10 grandchildren, Tracy, Mandy, Karen, Scott, Sara, Patricia, Angela, James, Johnathan, Jacob, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Cremation has been chosen. Private family services will be at a later date. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery; Colby.
