Anna Marie Phillips, 78, died June 15, 2015. She was born September 19, 1936 to Irven and Edna Pedersen in Padroni, Colorado. Anna was raised in the country and that is where she learned her love of animals and hard work. She was one of eight children who worked beside her parents and siblings to take care of the family. Anna was smart and talented in many things such as sewing, canning, cooking and crocheting. Her most enjoyable pastime was fishing. That was serious business to her. When she was fishing and the fish were biting she had no problem siting in the hot sun all day long. She loved life and was no stranger to hard work. She married Jerry Herbeck in 1955 and they raised four children; Debbie, Jay Dee, Jimmy and Becky. They divorced and several years later she met Robert Phillips and was married to him for about 32 years. Robert preceded her in death on on August 29, 2013. She then moved to McDonald, KS to live with her brother and sister-in-law Jr. and Joyce Pedersen. After a couple months she then moved to Cheyenne, WY where she was in and out of he nursing facility and hospital. She died at the Davis Hospice Center at 8:10 p.m. June 15, 2015. She will be missed so very much by her children and family who loved her deeply. The greatest decision Anna ever made was accepting Jesus Christ as her Savior in the year 1997 at Spavinaw Baptist Church, where she attended church. Anna had 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
