Anna Cecelia Stegeman Fyfe, 82, of Colby, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at the Logan County Hospital, in Oakley. She was living at the Logan County Manor for the past six years. She was born August 26, 1937, in Selden, KS, to Xavier and Lela Dancer Stegeman. Anna married Oliver Fyfe on February 11, 1956. She was a farm wife and enjoyed gardening, puzzles, cooking, card games and spending time with her family. Anna was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Colby. Anna had an affectionate smile that many will remember her for.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Lee; parents, Xavier and Lela and siblings, Harry, Robert, Alice, Ernest, Richard, Michael, Kenneth and Agnes.
She is survived by her husband Oliver; her children, Deborah & Barry, David & Terri, Dorothy & Darrell and Dennis & Dulci; her grandchildren, Steven, Michaell & Jessica, Rachel, Brenda & Kenny, Justin & Nicole and Erika & Maverick; her great grandchildren, Mallory, Cohen, Carson, Cameron, Cecelia, Katelynn, Lillian, Kylee and Bennett; her sisters, Helen and Mary Jane and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 5-7:00 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2020 at Baalmann Mortuary, 190 S Franklin, Colby, with the Rosary and Vigil at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 285 N. French Ave, Colby, with burial in the church cemetery.
