Allison Jo Chaput, 32, of Lone Tree, CO, formerly of Oakley, died Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Parker Adventist Hospital, Parker, CO. She was born November 15, 1983 to Jerry and Darlene (Honas) Chaput in Concordia, KS.
Allison graduated from Oakley High School in 2002 and from Fort Hays State University in 2006, with a Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing. She was currently enrolled in a Master’s program, working to become a Nurse Practitioner. Allison was an Assistant Nurse Manger at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Lakewood, CO. She also was an advisor for Delta Zeta at Colorado University. Allison was a people person and loved the outdoors, especially biking, hiking and running with Ian.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Joseph and Marian Chaput and Clarence and Alice Honas.
She is survived by her parents, Jerry and Darlene, of Oakley; fiancé, Ian Kerr, of Lone Tree, CO; a beloved furry companion, Mia; two sisters, Jera (Lee) Potter, of Sioux Falls, SD and Tori (Darren) Goetz, of Oakley; three nephews, Nicholas Ahrens, Hudson Potter and Owen Goetz and two nieces, Leah Potter and Nora Goetz.
Visitation will be 4-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oakley with Vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 9, 2016 at St Joseph Catholic Church.
