Alice Urban

Alice C. Urban, 82, of Colby, died Friday, December 12, 2014 at Citizen’s Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. She was born July 5, 1932 in Guthrie, OK to Dennis D.D.S and Margaret (McCormick) Croake. She married Kenneth Urban on July 16, 1960, in Perry, OK. Alice was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Colby. She enjoyed traveling, swimming, visiting with friends and especially spending time with her granddaughters.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband; parents and sister Ellen Ann Sorrels.

She is survived by her children, Kevin Urban, Thomas Urban and Kathy (Shawn) Diederich; granddaughters, Samantha and Katelyn and sister, Rose Mary Tate-Winder.

Visitation will be 4-8:00 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2014 at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Colby.
