Alice "Jean" Silcott

Jean Silcott, 83, of Atwood, died Saturday, February 22, 2020. She was born December 20, 1936, in Alton, IL, to Emil C. and Alice A. (Bower) Johnson. Jean lived in Denver and worked at the Rocky Mountain News for many years. She also worked at Fairmont Cemetery for a couple of years. Jean was a long time member of the Baptist Church and joined the Atwood Baptist Church upon moving to Atwood.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband Richard Silcott; son Gary Silcott and brother and sister-in-law Don (Mary) Johnson.

She is survived by her daughter Terry Silcott, of Atwood, KS; son Jack Silcott, of Commerce City, CO and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

No services are scheduled. Inurnment will take place in the Fairmont Cemetery, Denver, CO.
